I am working on the FITS method, can’t remember what that stands for will find out for next post but anyway the gist is to run less and run faster, OK you don’t run less distance just less days! you actually run mmore miles on the run days and considerably faster, and then on the 2 days you dont run you are supposed to ride a bike or row. i hate the exercise bike and cant afford a rowing machine so barn work and riding will have to count for now. The sprint repeats are really hard, I feel as though I am really training and I am getting faster. I run 5 miles at either a constant 9min 30 sec mile or sprint repeats at about 8.30, sprints are 3/4 mile, 4 or 5 repeats with mile warm up and cool down. I will either get fitter or drop down dead. Better get my will in order. I can just picture the exercise ball debacle, thought I was going to fall off the treadmill when i tried to run kicking my butt, decided to do it at the walk instead, even that is hard. keep it up all, it will be spring soon!!!!! mum
